Today we got out with customers on the back side of Pine Island and caught Spotted Sea Trout. We must of caught over a 100 fish drifting and throwing live shrimp under a popping cork. Fish ranged in the 14-18 inch class with several fish in the 26 inch range. Despite the strong winds it was a great day on the water. Tight Lines!

Fishing in the Cape Coral area was great this week. We had a party get out and fish in the St. James City area on the backside of Pine Island. Fishing live shrimp under a popping cork while drifting was the go to bait and presentation. Best results came from fishing the mangroves in two to three feet of water. Fish species caught included Speckled Sea Trout, Red Fish, Cobia, Lady Fish, Shark and Mangrove Snapper. |
