    • What is your cancellation policy?

Once booked, kayak tours are nonrefundable. If a tour is canceled by your guide for safety reasons (water level, weather forecast, unsafe conditions, etc.), your trip can be rescheduled or you can receive a raincheck

    • Where do we meet?

Once your tour is reserved we'll email you a confirmation with directions to your launch site.

    • What to bring?

Wear your swimsuit, or anything that is comfortable when wet, water shoes or flip-flops, Ziploc bag for dry storage, sunscreen, hat and glasses, a towel to keep in your car for afterward

    • Is it safe for Children?

Yes, it is absolutely safe for children. We take kids from ages 5 and up. Younger ones will ride in a tandem kayak with an adult in their party. For those who have paddling experience they are welcome to paddle their own kayak.

    • Is threading a better ?

As sample store uses some of the latest graphics designs which may not be supported in lower version of browsers

    • Are there bugs?

In Florida and on the open bay and paddling trails we paddle, bugs can be present. We usually see mosquitoes in the very early morning and in the late afternoon when the sun is setting; typically, before and after our tours. Don’t worry though, we carry insect repellent just in case.

    • Do the tours go all year long?

Yes, with the beautiful weather in Florida we are able to paddle all year.

    • What about the weather?

We rarely have weather issues. In Florida, if it's going to rain that usually happens in the afternoons when the sea breezes from East and West come together. Our guides carry rain ponchos on every tour, just in case. If the weather forecast calls for inclement weather on your tour date, we will closely monitor it and work with you to reschedule your tour to a different day.

    • Do you have tandem (double) kayaks?

Yes, we have tandems, our single and tandem kayaks are both sit-on-top kayaks.

    • Will I see Alligators?

In Florida, there is usually an alligator just about anywhere there is water. For the most part, alligators are afraid of humans and will not harm us. To date, we have not seen alligators in the Matlacha Aquatic Preserve area

    • Can we bring alcohol?

No, we don't allow alcohol on any of our tours. There is plenty of time for that afterwards.
